In 2005, John McIntosh and Darlene McIntosh purchased the Enviro Masters Huron-Bruce Lawn franchise. That first year, they worked part-time in the business while building a loyal customer base of 179 clients. From the beginning, their goal was to offer more than basic lawn care by providing services that enhanced the quality, value, and enjoyment of their customers’ outdoor living spaces.

As the company continued to grow, so did the range of services offered — including the addition of professionally installed in-ground sprinkler systems.

In January 2023, after 17 successful years and more than 3,000 customers served, the Lawn Care and Pest Control divisions of the business were sold so the company could focus exclusively on what they do best: irrigation. With that new chapter came a new name — Waters Edge Irrigation.

Today, Waters Edge Irrigation is a registered, licensed, and insured company dedicated to the installation, service, and maintenance of efficient irrigation systems. Through continued membership with Landscape Ontario, the team regularly attends training programs to stay current with the latest advancements and best practices in the irrigation industry.
